Provision of service complaints

How to make a complaint about the way a service has been provided.

To make a complaint about the way a service has been provided, contact the Complaints and Conflict Resolution Advisor at studentinterest@vuw.ac.nz. They will identify the best person or area in the University to respond to this complaint. This will usually be the manager or a senior staff member in the relevant area.

Use this secure online form to make a complaint. You can make a complaint in person, by phone, or in an online meeting by contacting studentinterest@vuw.ac.nz.

Possible outcomes could include:

  • consideration of the complaint and subsequent changes to service delivery
  • training and upskilling staff
  • an apology or any other action to repair harm, relieve distress and enhance student wellbeing and experience.
