Commerce and Tourism

There are capacity limits and selection criteria for students studying in commerce and tourism management. Find out how these may effect you.

If you're about to study your first year or are currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (BCOM) or Bachelor of Tourism Management (BTM) degrees. Make sure you get in early to secure your place in the courses you want to study, as there are limitations on a number of courses for these degrees.

Limited numbers for undergraduate courses

Admission into BCOM and BTM courses that have capacity limits will be on a granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entry into Honours and Master's programmes

Admission into Honours and Master's programmes will be based on academic merit in your undergraduate degree.

Appeals against exclusion

Exclusion from individual BCom courses should be discussed with the relevant Head of School. Appeals against any of these decisions should go to the Associate Dean (Students).
