Commerce

There are capacity limits and selection criteria for students studying Commerce courses. Find out how these may affect you.

If you're about to start your first year or are currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, make sure you get in early to secure your place in the courses you want to study. Some courses within this degree allow only a limited number of people to study them.

Limited numbers for undergraduate courses

Admission into BCom courses that have capacity limits will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Entry into Honours and Master’s programmes

Admission into Honours and Master's programmes will be based on academic merit in your undergraduate degree.

Appeals against exclusion

Exclusion from individual BCom courses should be discussed with the relevant Head of School. Appeals against any of these decisions should go to the Associate Dean (Students).
