There are plenty of opportunities to get involved:

  • Volunteer with local and international charity organisations.
  • Attend diplomatic dialogues and interactive workshops.
  • Participate in global leadership seminars.
  • Become a student ambassador.
  • Represent your classmates or lead a club.

These opportunities are open exclusively to currently enrolled students.

Kitea Impact Programme brings together our previous award-winning leadership programmes—Wellington International Leadership Programme (WILP) and Wellington Plus Programme (WPP)—that made a real difference to our students.

It was a truly life-changing experience that opened my eyes to global perspectives, helped me grow as a leader, and introduced me to amazing people from all over the world.

Olufemi Akintunde

My student experience was enriched by the mahi I did in my community. In addition to the friendships I made and the skills I developed, I secured my first job in my field based on the experience I gained volunteering.

Alison Winstanley

It is a unique programme, where you have the freedom to explore topics that may not be covered in your classes, but can be used to enhance your understanding of them.
