Improving student experience

We want to ensure all students have a great experience at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington.

Each year we ask students to complete online surveys to give feedback on their time at the University. The insights from these surveys are used to inform decision-making and improve student-focused initiatives.

YOU Student Wellbeing Survey 2021

The YOU Student Wellbeing Survey 2021 will be sent to undergraduate students at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington who previously completed the survey and indicated they were happy to participate again.

This is a long-term project, and by reaching out to students twice a year for each year they study at the University, we hope to understand more about how wellbeing impacts the student experience. Insights from the survey will be used to help improve the University’s learning environment and support services.

2021 Graduate Destinations Survey

The purpose of the Graduate Destinations Survey is to gain information on the types and location of employment, salary ranges, and further study opportunities graduates may take up after completing their qualifications.

The survey is conducted in Trimester 2 each year and captures information of graduates who completed their studies between the beginning of July the previous year and the end of June the current year.
