There are many scholarships in the in the database that may suit, depending on your area of study and degree level. You can search the University's scholarships database, or start by looking at these scholarships:

  • Ngā Hoe a Kupe Pathfinder Scholarships—aimed at growing the participation and success of Māori and Pasifika students, and those from refugee and low socio-economic backgrounds in Wellington.
  • Totoweka Equity Scholarship—for school leavers who are Māori, Pasifika, from refugee-backgrounds, have a disability, identify as LGBTQIA+ and Takatāpui or come from socio-economically disadvantaged background.
  • Kahotea Outstanding Achievement Scholarship—for school leavers who have achieved exceptional academic results, or have achieved within the areas of culture, community involvement, leadership or equity.
  • Deen Welfare Trust scholarship—to encourage and assist students from refugee and migrant backgrounds, who experience financial chanllenges, to undertake study.
