Everyone feels pressure when studying. It can result in high levels of stress. Positive stress happens when you're doing a desirable task that requires you to use all of your skills and resources. Negative stress occurs when have more demands than you can handle.

Try the following strategies to manage your stress and pressure and take some time out before returning to your task feeling recharged and ready:

  • Take action.
  • Take deep breaths.
  • Read a good book.
  • Bake.
  • Exercise.
  • Meditate.
  • Talk with someone.
  • Spend time with friends or family.
  • Listen to music.
  • Spend time in nature.
