Domestic students

We welcome new students to the University with events to help them find their way around campus, prepare for study, meet new people, and have fun.

The timetable for the next New Students' Orientation is coming soon.

It will take place from Monday 3 to Friday 7 July 2023—the week before the start of Trimester 2.

Tours

Kelburn Library tours

Library tours are available Monday to Thursday, at 10.10 am, 11.10 am, 12.10 pm, 1.10 pm, and 2.10 pm. Meet at level 2, the Hub, outside the library entrance.

Recreation Centre tours

For all things sports, clubs, fitness, and wellbeing, take a tour at 10 am or 2 pm, Tuesday to Thursday. Meet at the reception desk in the Recreation Centre.

Te Pataka Toi Adam Art Gallery

Enjoy a visit to Te Pataka Toi Adam Art Gallery any time between 11 am and 5 pm, Monday to Sunday during Orientation week. During the rest of the year, the gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday when exhibitions are on.
