Our commitment to your safety and security

The University has committed to student safety and security through its Ki te Rā—Student Wellbeing and Outcomes Framework and the Pastoral Care Code. We also have dedicated services for your safety and security needs, whether these are serious concerns that impact your welfare, or everyday needs such as assistance after dark.

  • Campus Security provides 24/7 support for your security needs at University and can work with emergency services when required.
  • Tauria—Student Interest and Conflict Resolution provides specialist support and referrals for students facing all kinds of challenges that may be impacting their success and ability to thrive at Te Herenga Waka.
