Professor Richard Arnold

Professor Richard Arnold is an elected staff representative on Council.

Richard Arnold is a Professor of Statistics and Data Science in the School of Mathematics and Statistics, having originally trained as an astronomer.

Richard has worked at the University for more than 20 years, during which time he has served on School and Faculty committees and on University-wide working groups, been an academic mentor, and been an active member of the Academic Board. He has been on the TEU Branch Committee and was a founding member of the new Rainbow/LGBTI+ staff network.
