How courses are labelled
Courses are identified by a four-letter subject code and a three-digit number. The four letters represent either a school or a subject area. The first digit gives the course's level:
|100||First-year undergraduate courses|
|200||Advanced undergraduate courses|
|300||Advanced undergraduate courses|
|400||Honours courses and some Master's courses|
|800||A few diploma and certificate courses|
