Te Herenga Waka's Kōtare—Communications team is the key point of contact for all media enquiries.

We handle requests from journalists and provide the media with information about the University's recent activities and announcements. There are a few different ways you can approach staff from the University to help respond to your request.

Find an expert yourself

Journalists are welcome to contact academic staff directly to request their expert comment on a given topic or issue.

You can search our researcher database to find a relevant contact. You can search for a specific person, or a topic using relevant key words.

The best way to reach a member of our academic community is to send an email to their VUW address—our academics are often out and about due to teaching and research commitments.
