Meeting dates and agendas

Find out when the University Council and the Committees of Council meet.

The following dates are scheduled for meetings of the Council and its principal committees for 2026. The dates, times, and venues may be changed on occasion.

  • Council meetings start at 11 am and conclude by 4.30 pm.
  • Academic Board meetings are held in various locations across the University's campuses, usually starting at 1 pm.
  • Audit and Risk Committee meetings are held in the Victoria Room, starting at 10 am  and concluding by 1 pm.
  • Te Aka Matua Committee meetings are held in the Victoria Room, usually starting at 3 pm.
  • Victoria Honours Committee meetings are held in the Victoria Room, usually starting at 4.30 pm.

Both the Victoria Room and the Council Chamber are on Level 2 of the Hunter Building, Kelburn Parade.
