Course of study: MBus (Prof)

As a student new to Te Herenga Waka working toward a Master of Business (Professional) I would like to contribute my governance, volunteer, and work experiences to assist the University. I would be proud to contribute to Te Herenga Waka’s long tradition of academic excellence and its vision of being a great global – civic university, which I am experiencing first-hand during my study.

As an immigrant residing in Aotearoa permanently and as a member of the LGBTTQIA+ community, I bring a unique strategic approach to governance. My work for WellingtonNZ, the regional economic development agency has allowed me to help businesses across the capital region grow and create long term sustainable jobs. As an appointed member of the Wellington City Council’s Rainbow Communities Advisory Group, I work to ensure the city is diverse and inclusive. In addition, I believe in uplifting others and ensuring space is made for those with less access to be able to contribute to our University and the Wellington community fully.

I would be honoured to serve as a student member of the University Council and to contribute Te Herenga Waka’s purpose of transforming lives.
