An overview to New Zealand Copyright Law including copyright issues and the use of copyright materials at the University.

Compliance with copyright law and our licenses is fundamental to academic integrity and our responsibilities as creators and users of content. This advice and guidance is focused on published materials and how they can be used in teaching, learning and research. Across the University there are units with expertise on managing intellectual property in areas such as trademarks, patents and commercialisation.
