Scholarship study options

Find out what you can study at the University as part of the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme.

To receive a Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship, you should choose a degree programme that aligns to the recommended subjects for your country.

Scholarships are offered at postgraduate level for all partner countries. Students from some Pacific countries and from Timor-Leste may also study at undergraduate level.

Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington offers more than 100 programmes of study that align to the study subjects recommended by New Zealand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT).

If the subject you wish to study does not appear in this list, you can research other programmes and still apply. In your application, you will need to justify how this programme might align to a recommended study subject for your country.
