Chemistry student selected as 2014 Class Representative Service Award winner

Class reps

Congratulations are due to SCPS chemistry student Jessica Siacci whose outstanding service as class rep this year has been recognised by VUWSA. Jessica was awarded with a Class Representative Service Award, one of only 10 winners university-wide.

Her citation says that "Jessica has been involved with not only connecting lecturers and students, but also connecting students with each other, and contributing to a warm and welcoming environment. She is greatly appreciated for always being able to make people smile and for always having important and up to date information available.

"She has organised social events for multiple classes over the course of the last two years, setting up study sessions for each class and getting more information from lecturers regarding assignments and tests. Jessica has also provided an important advocacy based role, or, as one of her classmates puts it, “continually bugging lecturers into providing more information regarding tests and assignments”."

SCPS would like to thank Jessica for her crucial help with ensuring an excellent student experience!
