Profile

Edin joined Victoria University of Wellington in 2024 as a PhD student in the School of Chemical and Physical Sciences, under the supervision of Dr Luke Liu. She was awarded the Victoria Doctoral Scholarship. Her research focuses on applying machine learning to accelerate the discovery of new metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) for methane capture. In addition, she develops visualisation tools to analyse and illustrate gas adsorption sites from high-throughput simulations. Her broader research interests also include the design and construction of hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (HOFs).
