Frankfurt Book Fair gets underway

Bill Manhire pays tribute to New Zealand writers at the opening ceremony of the Frankfurt Book Fair.

New Zealand has taken centre stage as guest of honour at the world's biggest book fair. Joining Joy Cowley as a key speaker at the opening ceremony of the 2012 Frankfurt Book Fair, Bill Manhire highlighted some of New Zealand's greatest literary minds and suggested our writers should 'challenge their own modesty'.
