Current and returning students
You need to select your courses and re-enrol for each year of a multi-year degree. If you're returning to do Honours or start a Master's degree, your first step is to apply for the new qualification.

- Trimester 3 courses starting January 2026—current students can use the add/drop tool until 9 January. New students (or those returning after more than two years) should contact info@vuw.ac.nz
- Apply for 2026 limited entry courses by 1 December 2025.
- Apply by 20 January 2026 to start a new programme of study in Trimester 1.
- Select your courses for 2026 by 26 February (but we strongly recommend completing your enrolment as soon as you can).

PhD and doctoral students
If you want to do a PhD or other doctorate, you'll apply through the Wellington Faculty of Graduate Research. It's the same process for both domestic and international students.
