School holiday visits

Come on campus during the school holidays and see what we have to offer—take a campus tour and meet our student ambassadors or talk to one of our advisers.

April school holiday experience days

Engage, experience, explore

Not sure what to study after high school? Trust us, you’re not alone. We are inviting high school students (years 11-13) to engage, experience and explore what Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington has to offer.

During these half-day events, students will have the opportunity to explore new areas of interest, enrich creativity and knowledge by hearing from current students, participate in hands-on activities and explore our state-of-the-art facilities.

These programmes are targeted towards students exploring the University. We are hosting a July school holiday programme that is more subject and degree focused.

Campus tours

See first-hand why we all love it here. Our campus tours allow you to see our facilities and meet people doing what they do best. It's your chance to check out Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington and ask as many questions as you like.

Kelburn campus is the central hub of the University. It is home to range of student services, the Central Library, and the Wellington Faculties of Humanities and Social Sciences, Science, Engineering, Education, and Health.

Te Aro campus, in the lively Cuba Street district, is home to the University’s Wellington Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation.

Pipitea campus is located in the heart of Wellington’s legal, government, and business district and is home to the Wellington School of Business and Government and Law Faculty.

When you register for a school holiday experience session, a campus tour will be automatically included. No additional tour booking is required for that particular campus.
