You will be admitted if you have a Certificate in Foundation Studies, the Tohu Māoritanga, or the Diploma in University Studies (Pasifika Pathways).

Certificate in Foundation Studies

Our Foundation Studies Programme will help international students who don’t meet our entry requirements to prepare for undergraduate study.

If you have successfully completed the Certificate in Foundation Studies, you will be admitted to Victoria University of Wellington.

If you have completed the Certificate of Foundation Studies programme through UP International College or another institution, you will need to apply under the admission type 'Qualification assessment at entrance level'.

Diploma in University Studies (Pasifika Pathways)

The Diploma in University Studies (Pasifika Pathways) is a one-year full-time diploma programme taught in a shared learning environment that foregrounds Pasifika perspectives. The programme is designed to help you transition to degree study at university.

If you have successfully completed the Diploma in University Studies (Pasifika Pathways), you will be admitted to the University.

Tohu Māoritanga

The Diploma in Māoritanga/Tohu Māoritanga is designed to provide students with a foundation in Māori language, culture, and society, and the academic study skills needed for tertiary study.

If you have successfully completed the Tohu Māoritanga, you will be admitted to the University.
