Step 6: Verify your identity

Have your New Zealand passport or birth certificate verified by an approved person. They must sight the original document and certify a photocopy. This can be done either:

  • on campus by a staff member from Admissions and Enrolments or Future Students, or
  • off campus by a Justice of the Peace, solicitor, or notary public

If you hold a New Zealand resident or permanent visa, you'll need certified copies of your passport and visa.

Step 7: Apply online to study

Submit your admission application via Pūaha. Don’t forget to include the certified copies of your identification and VicStart contract.

Step 8: Enrol in your chosen course

Once you have been admitted and have received your Offer of Place, apply for your course via Pūaha.

You will then be emailed an enrolment agreement.

Step 9: Accept your enrolment agreement

Accept your enrolment agreement via Pūaha to fully enrol.

Step 10: Receive your fees assessment

You’ll be sent a fees assessment. This is an invoice for the cost of the course.

Not everyone will need to pay for the course.

If you get a fees grant, you can use this to pay the invoice.

If you do not get a fees grant, you'll need to pay the invoice yourself.

Step 11: Receive your VicStart fees grant

If you receive a fees grant, use this to pay your fees assessment.

Then get ready to start your course.
