The School of Architecture's turning 40!
Victoria University’s School of Architecture is turning 40 in 2016. To celebrate, a weekend of events showcasing the achievements of the school, its staff and students is planned for 18-20 March 2016.
Past and present students, tutors, staff, and friends of the School are invited to contribute presentations, individuals or collaborative, which reflect their experiences at the School.
These presentations, which will be given during sessions on Saturday 19 March, aim to keep the School’s history alive, honour those who built the foundations and character of the School, and to share wisdom with younger generations.
Presentations may include performances, videos, and/or PowerPoint presentations. In order to include as many as possible, they should be no longer than seven minutes.
If you would like to contribute a presentation to this event, please send an expression of interest to architecturevuw@gmail.com by 1 December 2015, and include the following information:
* the presenter’s name(s)
* association with the School of Architecture (e.g. role and/or year of graduation and degree earned)
* what presentation format will be used
* a brief description (100 words or less) of the presentation
Confirmation emails will be sent to those who submitted presentation proposals after 16 December 2015, and final presentations should be submitted no later than 4 March 2016.
