Health improvement practitioner

Our Health Improvement Practitioner can help you form solution-focused action plans to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing.

A Health Improvement Practitioner is part of our team of general practice doctors (GPs). In your session, they'll evaluate all aspects of your individual wellbeing and identify a key issue that is having a significant impact on your wellbeing. They'll then work collectively with you to come up with a plan to improve your overall wellbeing.

They can help you with a range of wellness issues such as stress, relationships, sexual dysfunction, sleep, routine, life and study balance, diet, self-esteem, attention difficulties, diabetes management and anxiety.

In most instances, your doctor will take the initiative in referring you to a Health Improvement Practitioner. You can ask your doctor for a referral.
