NZSEA awards go to SGEES senior lecturer and graduate student
Dr Mairead de Roiste and MGIS student Richard Law winners of NZSEA awards
On Thursday 19 of November the outstanding work that SGEES Dr Mairead de Roiste has been undertaking with innovative teaching and building geospatial capacity, was highlighted at the New Zealand Spatial Excellence Awards (NZSEA) Dinner at Te Papa. Dr de Roiste received the NZSEA award for education and professional development, ahead of several other high profile finalists.
In addition, MGIS student Richard Law also won the postgraduate student prize, ahead of several PhD student finalists.
