The Tertiary Education Commission has acknowledged the School of Geography, Environment & Earth Sciences as the national research leader in our discipline and Victoria University to be the leading research University in the country.
The latest national assessment for research excellence show our Geology/Earth Sciences team to be ranked first of all universities in the country while the quality scores of our Human Geography team ranked us as first equal.
These rankings acknowledge the outstanding research performance of the school’s academic staff and research students. We are here to advance and disseminate knowledge. These results endorse that vision and reflect the dynamic environment we offer to staff and students alike.
