Wellbeing and Public Policy Conference

Victoria University will host the country‘s first international conference on Wellbeing and Public Policy on 13—14 June, followed by a day of workshops on 15 June.

Victoria University will host the country‘s first international conference on Wellbeing and Public Policy on 13—14 June, followed by a day of workshops on 15 June.

Registrations are now open for the conference, which will bring together world experts and policy makers in order to discuss recent advances in wellbeing research and their application to policymaking at all levels of government. Victoria staff and PhD students are especially welcome.

The conference is being organised under the auspices of the International Journal of Wellbeing which is edited through Victoria and the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.

We are delighted with the response we have received from both overseas and within New Zealand. A total of 34 abstracts have been accepted. They will run in three separate streams at or close to the Rutherford House venue of Victoria University in central Wellington.
