Lab test results

We will contact you via phone, text, email or via the myIndici app to let you know about your test results.

How we contact you

In most instances, we will email or text you if your results are normal or of no concern. If your results require a follow-up appointment, we will call you to arrange this. If you haven’t heard from us about your results for more than two weeks, contact us.

MyIndici

If you sign up to our patient portal, we will post your test results on the app. We may also send you a text about your results if we need to follow up with you about them. Find out how to enrol and download MyIndici.

Lab tests for international students

We send students to Awanui Labs for blood (and other) tests. If you are an international student, you will need to pay for the test in addition to the standard consultation at Mauri Ora. You may then be able to claim these costs back from your insurance company.

If you are too unwell to go to Awanui Labs, we can do some tests at Mauri Ora. The cost of tests at Mauri Ora will be the same as getting tests at a lab.

Concerns about results

If you have any concerns about your test results, please contact our reception staff. They will ensure a nurse or doctor gives you a follow-up call to discuss your results.
