Brass Player of the Year

Since 2009 the NZSM Brass programme has held an annual competition recital to determine the Brass Player of the Year, an initiative of Andrew Jarvis, Head of Brass. The competition is a showcase of the outstanding talent and achievements of the students on the programme. The prize ($500) is generously sponsored by Vanguard Orchestral.
