Woodwind Player of the Year

Since 2009 the NZSM Woodwind programme holds a special competition recital to determine the Woodwind Player of the Year, an initiative of Deborah Rawson, Head of Wind. The annual competition is a showcase of the outstanding talent and achievements of the students on the programme. The prize ($500) is generously sponsored by Vanguard Orchestral.
