Patricia Pratt Scholarship in Musical Performance

The purpose of the scholarship is to assist outstanding New Zealand musical performers who have completed an honours degree in musical performance in New Zealand to continue their musical development at a renowned international music school or conservatorium. The scholarship will be awarded for classical music performance including vocal or instrumental performance or conducting.

Edwin Carr Scholarship

The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to outstanding New Zealand composers wishing to further their studies, funded by the estate of NZ composer Edwin Carr.

Pettman Dare Scholarship

The Pettman Scholarship programme supports talented early career music education practitioners in New Zealand and the UK to become leaders in the field. The Scholarship runs January-December each year, during which the scholar will study and acquire practical experience at the University of Leeds, Opera North and other leading UK music organisations, before returning to New Zealand to create and deliver a project in collaboration with New Zealand Opera, on a defined theme.
