Find a venue for your sports, club or fitness event—we have a range of indoor and outdoor spaces to suit your needs.
Students can hire our venues or drop in and use them at no charge when they are not booked for use by others. These venues are also available for hire by the public.
Main gym
The University’s main gym is a versatile space that’s set up for basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball, indoor football, and loads more.
Activities area
The activities area is an open area available for casual use. It is mainly used for table tennis or as a chill out space.
Dance room
The Dance room has a purpose-built wooden floor, mirrors and stage and is mainly used for group exercise classes, martial arts clubs, and dance groups.
Boyd-Wilson Field
Home of Old Boys University Rugby club, the field is used for rugby, football, ultimate and more.
Boyd-Wilson Arena
An indoor artificial turf perfect for rugby, rugby league, football and dodgeball.
Tennis/netball courts
The tennis/netball courts and pavillion are set up for tennis over summer and netball during winter.
Tennis pavillion
The tennis pavilion on Salamanca Road is a great indoor venue for club meeting.
Equipment hire
You can hire sports equipment, lockers and towels at the University's Recreation Centre.
