VUWSC aims to introduce young sailors to the Wellington sailing scene. Sun, an ocean breeze, and the beautiful Wellington Harbour, come join us!

Our club is a casual sports and social group open to all levels of sailing and outdoor adventurers.
Whether it’s your first time on a boat or you are a seasoned professional, our sailing adventures are perfect for getting time out on the water as students.

We host:
- Time-on-waters (social sailing throughout the year)
- Racing hosted by Evans Bay Yacht and Motorboat Club
- Social events once a month
Sailing events held weather permitting approximately every second weekend at our affiliate club Evans Bay Yacht and Motorboat Club.
Membership
Annual membership costs $25 for students and $50 for non-students. Half-year memberships are also available. Your membership gets you access to all sailing opportunities held at Evans Bay Yacht and Motorboat Club, as well as all the gear you need to sail including wetsuits, lifejackets, wetsuit boots and more.
