Te Pātaka Kōrero—The Library celebrates Te Wiki o te reo Māori

Come and kōrero, whakarongo, pānui and tākaro and waiata with us!

The Library's Discovery System, Te Waharoa, will default to te reo for the week. For simple instruction on how to change the language setting, follow our short YouTube video.

Dr Hiria McRae (Associate Dean, Teacher Education), Dr Awanui Te Huia (Senior Lecturer, Te Kawa a Māui), Dr Ben Walker (Senior Lecturer, School of Management) and Dr Mike Ross (Head of School, Te Kawa a Māui) are hosting topical webinars for the week to mark te Wiki o te reo Māori. Register with us for the zoom webinars.

Participate in the Library's waiata YouTube Playlist build by emailing LibraryEvents@vuw.ac.nz with your selection.

At noon, Thursday 14 September, the Library will take a moment for te reo Māori as we acknowledge the past, celebrate the present, and prepare for the future.

Library staff will be learning waiata, playing games throughout the week and buying up large at the Āwhina Market in the Hub on Thursday.
