Alumni as Mentors programme

The Alumni as Mentors programme (AAM) connects final-year students with Victoria University of Wellington alumni who are experienced mentors in the workforce.

The Alumni as Mentors programmes are offered online or in person. If you are seeking the learning experiences that come from face-to-face contact between mentors and mentees, then AAM Wellington may be for you. AAM Online connects mentors with mentees looking for a career with an international scope - this programme connects mentees with mentors locally and across the world with the flexibility of online delivery.

Alumni as Mentors programmes allow final-year students to connect with Victoria University of Wellington alumni in mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at helping students in their transition into work life. The programmes offers students the opportunity to improve their employability skills and understanding of the world of work, while alumni can enhance their personal and professional development, gain satisfaction from giving back, and connect in a meaningful way with the university community, wherever they are.

The AAM programmes are a collaborative initiative of the University's Careers and Employment service and the Engagement and Alumni team.
