Biggs Prize and Project scholarships winners announced

MA in Creative Writing student Faith Wilson has won the 2014 Biggs Family Prize in Poetry with her manuscript Dolly Mix Tape, written as her Masters folio project.

The Prize, sponsored by Peter and Mary Biggs and awarded annually since 2006, recognises the potential of a graduating poet in Victoria's Masters in Creative Programme at the IIML.

The IIML also offers a number of annual project scholarships to MA in Creative Writing students who apply after completion of the final MA folio. Project scholarships are awarded by recommendation of the examiners. We are happy to announce that the following students have each won a $3,000 project scholarship to undertake further work on their folio projects:

  • Ines Almeida (memoir)
  • Judith Cowley (script)
