Profile
Tangtai (Ebbes) Liang is a PhD candidate in International Business at Victoria University of Wellington, supported by the Wellington Doctoral Scholarship. His research focuses on institutional pressures, environmental performance, international business strategy, cross-border negotiations, and trade policy.
Alongside his doctoral studies, he serves as Managing Director at Golden Elite New Materials Co., Ltd. in China, a textile printing chemical manufacturer specialising in high-end, water-based textile inks. The company has established strategic partnerships with internationally recognised brands, including FILA, Nike, and Adidas. This dual role as a researcher and practitioner allows him to bridge academic theory with real-world strategic challenges in global supply chains.
