Panoho

The new research candidate management system to support students in Master's by thesis/portfolio, PhD, and professional doctorate programmes

About Panoho

Panoho is our research candidate management system, designed to support postgraduate students throughout their research journey. It serves Master's by thesis and Master's by portfolio students, as well as candidates undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or a Professional Doctorate. Panoho helps students manage their candidature by:

  • tracking key milestones and academic progress
  • facilitating communication and documentation
  • supporting the examination process.

With Panoho, research candidates have a central platform to stay informed, organised, and supported from enrolment through to completion.

Panoho will officially launch on 15 October 2025. You can now use this link to access the system: Panoho access

Note: all students who have submitted their thesis/portfolio and are already "under examination" will not be included in Panoho.

Staff instructions for accessing Panoho

University staff will be able to access Panoho directly via single sign-on (SSO). They won’t need to log in again—just click the link.

If you encounter any issues logging in, please contact Digital Solutions for assistance.

Student instructions for accessing Panoho

Research candidates who are logged into University systems with their student account will be able to access Panoho directly via single sign-on (SSO) – just click the link.

Candidates using University computers who are logged in to SSO with their staff account will need to use an incognito window to access Panoho with their student account. To do this,  they will need to open an incognito window in their browser and copy and paste the Panoho link into that window. They will then be asked to log in once with their student email address and then again with their student username and password. They should then have access to Panoho.

If you encounter any issues logging in, please contact Digital Solutions for assistance.

The below document has more detailed instructions explaining the login process for students.

Training and support

Training sessions were held throughout October. Recordings of some of these sessions can be found in the Guides/Help section in Panoho. You can also find user guides there.
