80th Anniversary of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Bombings

A special showcase at Kelburn Library highlights the devastation and collateral of the Hiroshima bombing of August 6th and the Nagasaki bombing on August 9th, 1945.

The School of Languages and Cultures have a newly acquired collection of photo posters sourced from the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum. This unique photo set acknowledges and aims to deter the use of nuclear weapons. Staff and students are welcome to come, view and reflect on the exhibition content. We encourage visitors to leave feedback and an origami crane to show our collective sentiments. The exhibit closes at 1:30pm, 20 August.
