NWAV AP 3: abstract submission

The deadline for abstract submissions is: 15 November 2013 (5pm NZ time)

Please submit your abstract via the easy chair.

(Note that the EasyChair submission page automatically includes a box to enter your abstract as text, as well as a link to upload your paper. Please upload your abstract as a PDF file via the 'upload paper' link. We will review on the basis of this, not the text in the 'Abstract' box. Thanks).

Late submissions will not be accepted. Authors will be notified of decisions in late December 2013/early January 2014.

Submission guidelines

Abstracts should not exceed 350 words, excluding title and references. Abstracts must include a clear, precise and detailed description of the topic, the specific research question, relevant prior work, research methods, results and conclusions.

To preserve anonymity during the review process, author names should not appear anywhere on the abstracts. Authors may choose to have their abstracts considered for either a paper or a poster presentation (note that abstracts submitted for a paper may be considered for a poster as well).

An author may submit at most one single-authored and one co-authored abstract.

It is anticipated that paper presentations will be given 20 minutes each, with a 5 minute question/answer period. Posters will be presented during a poster session, anticipated to be 2 hours. Posters are typically a good format for presentations where visual display of tables, graphs, maps, etc. is particularly important.

Abstracts must be formatted as Adobe Acrobat PDF files.
