A reference grammar of New Zealand sign language

New Zealand Sign Language: A Reference Grammar

A Reference Grammar of NZSL, designed mainly for language learners, was published in June 2015 as an E-book. The digital text contains hundreds of video clips that provide examples of the language structures described. The grammar is a complement to the Dictionary of NZSL and is available from Bridget Williams Books.

Concise dictionary of New Zealand sign language

The first major work of DSRU was the production of A Dictionary of New Zealand Sign Language, the first of its kind in New Zealand. This project was completed by a team of deaf and hearing researchers over the period 1992-1997. While this dictionary is no longer in print, having been superseded by the Online Dictionary of New Zealand Sign Language, the concise edition is still available. The Concise Dictionary of New Zealand Sign Language can be ordered from Bridget Williams Books.
