Creating healthy and safe campuses at Victoria University of Wellington is a partnership between staff, students, contractors and the consultants we work with.

Responsibility for organisational leadership in Health and Safety sits with the Safety, Risk and Assurance unit, who work closely with Human Resources on staff wellbeing.

Every member of the University community has a responsibility to maintain excellent health and safety practice. This responsibility increases incrementally through the levels of the line management structure and is detailed in the Health and Safety Policy.
