Submission deadline

Learn more about the two required actions to submit your Master’s thesis or research portfolio: a Notice of Intention to Submit and the Thesis Submission

1. Notice of Intention to Submit

Complete your Notice of Intention to Submit in Panoho at least 4 weeks before your intended submission date.
This step opens your examination record and confirms your planned submission date.
You cannot submit your thesis without completing this notice. Once submitted, it will be reviewed by your supervisor and FGR.

2. Thesis Submission

Submit your thesis or research portfolio by your final day of registration.
Upload a PDF of your thesis/portfolio, plus any appendices or creative components, using the Thesis Submission form in Panoho.
If your final day falls on a weekend or University holiday, you have until 4:00 PM on the next working day. Your submission will be also approved by your supervisor and FGR team.

Important:

  • Missing your submission deadline may require an additional month of registration and fees, and could delay graduation.
  • If you need more time, speak with your supervisor and submit an extension request in Panoho.
  • For assistance with your registration, contact the FGR Student Adviser Team
  • Check your registration dates in Pūaha under Student Record.
  • Please note that FGR approval is a manual process and may take several hours specially in peak times. Reviews do not occur outside working hours.

A guide on using Panoho will be available in this page.
