As you get close to submitting your thesis or portfolio, make sure you check a few key things. This includes confirming your timeline with your supervisor, reviewing your formatting, verifying your word count, and considering any embargo or sensitive‑material requirements.
At least four weeks beforeyour intended submission date you should submit a Notice of Intention to Submit in Panoho. This opens your exam record and notifies FGR and your supervisor of your planned submission date. Your supervisor must acknowledge this form and the FGR team then review and complete it (during working hours). You cannot submit your thesis for examination until this form has been fully processed. Check this guide for more information.
Submit your Master’s thesis or research portfolio in Panoho by the final day of your registration. If this date falls when the University is closed, you must submit by 4pm on the first working day after. Missing this deadline may require an extra month of registration and fees. For more details, refer to candidature changes.
Your supervisor will acknowledge your submission, then the FGR Exams Team will update your Student Record and change your registration status to “under examination”. Allow up to 5 working days for this step. You will not lose access to University systems during the examination period.
