Work is underway to update academic staff profile information in Elements. Subject Librarians will be in contact to offer help and support where profiles may need updating. You can review and update this information yourself, but help is there if needed.
Elements is used by the University to record and publicly present academic staff profiles covering research, engagement, and teaching activities. It is also used to deposit research outputs into the Open Access repository.
Many public academic profiles are missing key information. This University initiative helps academics curate a current and engaging external profile. Information in Elements is yours to tailor and you’re encouraged to regularly update a research narrative, latest outputs, and engagement activities.
Information that can be updated includes your:
- academic biography, work history, or personal photograph
- outputs to deposit in the open access repository
- research interests
- external engagements
- research IDs, such as ORCiD, Scopus, and Dimensions
- research outputs
- availability for research supervision
You may like to look at other academic profiles, Elements intranet page, or the online profiles guide.
Contact your Subject Librarian if you have any questions, or would like to have a discussion about how to improve your Elements profile.
