Biography
Saida Radjabzade is a PhD student in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies at Victoria University of Wellington. Her research looks at how studying through English medium influences the career opportunities of students and graduates in Uzbekistan. Before beginning her PhD, Saida spent over ten years teaching Academic English at Westminster International University in Tashkent, where she was also involved in curriculum development. Her teaching and research experience has shaped her interest in English-medium instruction, EAP, multilingualism, translanguaging, academic publishing, and graduate employability. She has also contributed to international research projects on language policy and English-medium education in Central Asia and the South Caucasus.
