Erlend Ek


Erlend leads China Policy’s agriculture and marine research team in Qingdao. He currently conducts research on issues including agricultural trade, rural reform, food security strategy, food safety standards, domestic and international fisheries, international fishery conservation governance, polar governance and scientific cooperation, state-owned enterprises (SOE) reform, and WTO compliance. Erlend studied social anthropology at Oslo University and University College London, and Chinese at Xiamen University. He has been with China Policy for five years.
