Published 2012. Contact: Colleen Ward

Overview

The research includes the development of a measure of perceived multiculturalism. Perceived multiculturalism is the extent to which a country acknowledges and respects cultural diversity, and engages in policies and practices wich promote maintenance of diverse cultural heritages, as well as fair and equitable participation in society.

The project goes on to explore the ways in which subjective multiculturalism is associated with psychological well-being, social adaptation and intercultural relations.
