Visiting scholars

Meet the global scholars who have visited the Centre for Applied Cross-cultural Research.

Dr Nicolas Geeraert
Dr Nicolas Geeraert - who visited CACR in 2016 - outside MBIE in Wellington, New Zealand

The Centre for Applied Cross-cultural Research (CACR) is unable to host any visits from overseas scholars at this time due to COVID-19 and the resultant national border closures.

Up until the emergence of the global Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, the CACR regularly hosted visits from overseas scholars with the aim of sharing and collaborating on common research interests and goals. Our visiting scholars often presented their research to our students, our School and our wider university or stakeholder community. Visits could extend from a week or less to several months. This cross-pollination of ideas and views was uniquely beneficial to both the visitor and the Centre. All such visits have been halted for the foreseeable future.
