Paul Jose promotion to Full Professor!

Congratulations to Dr Paul Jose on being promoted to Full Professor!

The Centre for Applied Cross-cultural Research is delighted to announce that Dr Paul Jose will be promoted to professor through the academic promotions process, effective from 1 January 2016.

Paul’s citation:

Associate Professor Paul Jose has demonstrated sustained leadership and excellence across the areas of activity required for promotion to professor. Paul is internationally recognised for two strands of research: stress and coping, and the statistical methods of mediation and moderation. This work has been influential and has led to high levels of peer esteem with regular invitations to present at workshops overseas. Paul is a prolific researcher publishing in the leading journals in his field and he is well known in the international psychological community. Paul has attracted significant levels of external research funding including Marsden Funds and is a high quality teacher and post-graduate supervisor. Paul has provided significant service to the school, University and in his discipline. Paul’s referees all affirmed his international standing, the impact of his research and the high quality of his scholarship.
